Mary and Peter warmly welcome you to their delightful 15th century
home in the beautiful Elham Valley. Sir Anthony Eden lived here
during the Battle of Britain when his guests included Eleanor
Roosevelt and Winston Churchill. Guests can enjoy the timber-framed
drawing room with its inglenook fireplace, comfortable bedrooms,
and the large formal garden with croquet lawn. dinner available
"en famille" in the candlelit dining room. Mary is an
accredited guide to the lovely cathedral city of Canterbury. Many
castles and National Trust properties are within easy reach, as
is a day trip to France. Just 14 miles from Dover and even closer
