stands beside the little thirteenth century church in the hamlet
of Abington Pigotts. An oasis of peace and quiet, full of birdsong,
the house is surrounded by gardens, park and farm land which have
been in the family for nearly six centuries. It is just fifty
minutes by train from London, fourteen miles from Cambridge and
within easy reach of many of East Anglia's historic attractions
and is well situated for both business and touring. Children over
nine welcome. No smoking in bedrooms.

Hall - Stragglethorpe, Lincoln, Lincolnshire - 12 miles south
of Lincoln
Stragglethorpe Hall with its monastic origins is a haven of peace
and tranquillity. Furnished with antiques and tapestries, its
secluded setting provides total privacy and yet it is only a twenty
minute drive from historic Lincoln. The Hall has been featured
in two BBC classic serials "Middlemarch" and "Tom
Jones". Guests are welcome to use the impressive drawing
room and breakfast and dinner (by arrangement) are served in the
elegant dining room. Non smokers only please.
