Day 1 - Arrival in Iceland - If time allows visit the Blue Lagoon and explore the Reykjanes Peninsula.
Overnight in in one of our Fosshotels in Reykjavik or similar.

Day 2 - Drive along the scenic Whale-Fjord and explore the Saga Valley Borgarfjörður with waterfalls, hot springs and historic sites.
Stay 2 nights at Fosshotel Bifröst or similar

Day 3 - Snæfellsnes Peninsula awaits you. Visit and view the many old houses of the pretty fishing village Stykkisholmur. A special attraction is the
glacier covered volcano, Snæfellsjökull, and weather allowing you could take an optional snowsledge tour to the top.

Day 4 - Go North - Drive north to Skagafjörður, the valley of the horses. En route we recommend river rafting, horseback riding or driving around
Vatnsnes Peninsula and a walk to the seal colony at Hindisvik.
Overnight at Fosshotel Áning or similar.

Day 5 - Visit Akureyri, the capital of North Iceland, and Goðafoss - the waterfall of the Gods.
Stay 2 nights at Fosshotel Laugar or Húsavík

Day 6 - Explore the natural wonders of Lake Myvatn, the hot springs at Námaskarð, and the lava fields at Krafla.

Day 7 - We recommend a whale watching tour in Husavik, or visit Europe's most powerful waterfall Dettifoss before driving on to East Iceland.
Overnight at Fosshotel Reyðarfjörður, Valaskjálf or Hallormsstaður.

Day 8 - Enjoy the dramatic fjord landscape and fishing villages of the East Fjords before reaching Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajökull.
Overnight near Höfn at Fosshotel Vatnajökull or similar

Day 9 - A long drive with many natural wonders awaits you today as you pass a glacial lagoon, Skaftafell National Park, many waterfalls, black lava beaches and rugged lava fields. Overnight at Fosshotel Nesbud or Hlid. Why not go horse back riding tour at the nearby horse ranch?

Day 10 - Visit Gullfoss Waterfall, Geysir Hot Springs, Thingvellir National Park. Then enjoy a walk through downtown Reykjavik.
